Only a few left.

This is an excerpt from a poem I wrote in tribute to James Joyce in 1998. It was published on the Irish Times web site at the time.

Joyce took 15 years to write Finnegans Wake and during this time he gave it the title, "Work-in-Progress".

Bowing to the modern day equivalent I have called this poem "Under Construction". The final title has yet to be published. ©2002
