Sigvardson
The
gallery is on the side of the central square in the heart
of Rødby, Denmark.
The
owner is Bo Sigvardson and his wife Lotta.
Exhibition
of original paintings by Roger Cummiskey.
ARTROGER
The
Gallery Sigvardson are happy to include Roger´s paintings
for the first time in Denmark.
Roger
Cummiskey´s paintings capture moments of quiet intensity
and undiscovered beauty. His use of primary colours lends
an air of nostalgia to his pictures, which distinguishes his
work and creates a sense of timelessness.
Cummiskey’s
compositions often capture the viewer’s attention with
their simple, recognizable scenes, drawing the viewer’s
attention to unexpected textures, nuances of shadow and brilliant
bits of light.
Roger
Cummiskey in terms of his ability is able to transform ordinary
scenes of human life into moments ripe with dramatic possibility.
Roger,
from Dublin in Ireland lives and works in Mijas Costa, Spain
where he says he is able to find the “daily poetry”
which inspires his art.
ARTROGER
Creative Bo laid the paintings out in the initials RC.
"I
am delighted to be joining Bo and Lotta as part of their stable
of Artists in Rodby, Denmark. I have known both Bo and Lotta
for a number of years and consider him one of the good guys
in the Art world. This gallery is a relatively new venture
for this pair of daft Swedes and I am happy to be associated
with them and I wish them well."
